Belle's Moments was started by me, Kyleigh Belle Butler, because of my grandparents. My Grandma and Papa have always been like a second set of parents to me. As I've grown up, I've watched how aging has changed them, especially my Papa. When I was little he was the strongest person I knew. He was always moving, always helping others, and always there when someone needed him. Now, even walking is harder for him. Even though he's still strong and he doesn't like asking for help, but he lets me help him. His trust in me made me realize just how important it is for older adults to have someone who genuinely cares about them. It breaks my heart knowing that not every senior has grandchildren, a friend, or family member to spend time with them or remind them that they're loved. That's why I started Belle's Moments to create joyful experiences for retirement home residents. My dream is to build a movement that bridges generations, inspires young leaders, and ensures every older adult feels seen, valued, and loved.
